Introduction and Scope of Application: Welcome to Float! These terms govern the use of our hardware products and associated services. By using our products and services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our products and services.
These terms apply to all customers who install and use our hardware products and access data through our app. They establish the terms and conditions you must follow while using our services. Please note that there may be additional terms and policies applicable to specific services or offers, and you should read them carefully.
These terms and any individual terms of the responsible Partner together with the order confirmation constitute the entire agreement basis for your purchase.
The entire agreement and other information on the Website are only available in Danish. You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases on the Website.
Definitions:
"Float hardware" refers to the entire module inserted into the electricity meter. This includes both the complete module and its individual components.
"Events" refer to the occurrences we can detect based on your meter's consumption data.
"Notifications" refer to the events we alert you to through the Float App.
Ordering and Payment:
Payment for your Float module is made through Float's partners. Therefore, Float's partners bear the expenses associated with the purchase of Float modules.
Ordering is done through Float's website.
Delivery and Shipping:
Delivery Costs Float's partners cover the expenses associated with delivery.
Delivery Time Shipments of Float modules occur weekly, so it is not possible to provide a more precise estimate of when you will receive your module. However, you can contact us at [email protected] if you have not received confirmation and further information about your shipment within 5-10 business days.
Delivery Method The item is delivered by GLS (or equivalent) upon delivery.
Returns and Refunds:
Condition of the Item Upon Return When you return an item in accordance with our return policy, we expect the item to be in the same condition as when it was taken out of the box or packaging, unless otherwise stated in our return policy. This means that the item must be unused, undamaged, clean, and with all original tags, labels, and accessories intact and in place.
Warranty and Liability:
If you have received a defective product, please contact the partner through whom you received your Float product.
Float assumes no responsibility for customers/users' use of the information provided by the app.
Float is not liable for delays or non-performance due to force majeure. As long as a force majeure situation exists, Float is exempt from fulfilling its obligations.
Confidentiality and Data Protection:
The information provided by the customer in connection with their order or creation of a Float user will be registered with Float, which is responsible for the information. Read more about our processing of personal data and the customer's rights in our privacy policy here: Privacy Policy.
Ownership and Copyright:
All rights to products produced by Float are our own.
It is generally prohibited to copy or publish content (e.g., articles, user manuals) from Float unless this is done in accordance with Float's instructions or with our consent.
All data collected from our hardware belongs to Float. The owner of the module retains the right to access their data at any time, but data cannot be commercialized without prior agreement and explicit consent from Float.
Reselling Float modules is not allowed.
Commercial use of our trademark (name, logo, designs, etc.) is not permitted.
Force Majeure:
Force majeure occurs when it becomes impossible to comply with our agreement terms due to completely unusual circumstances that Float could not have prevented and should not have anticipated. This could include events such as war, extraordinary natural disasters, fires, major strikes, blockades, and even a pandemic.
Changes to the Terms:
Float reserves the right to change both the services we provide and the applicable terms for our products. The change must be notified to the customer no later than thirty (30) days before the change takes effect.
If the customer does not cancel their user profile and terminate their relationship with Float before the change takes effect, it shall be considered acceptance of the change.
Complaint Procedure:
At Float, we appreciate all feedback, including complaints. If you have a complaint about our services, please send an email to [email protected]. In order for us to handle your complaint as effectively as possible, we ask you to provide the following information:
Right of Cancellation:
You have the right to cancel your Float module at any time. If you have not yet received your module, please contact the partner through whom you will receive your module.
